Holiday Glam: Nail Edition and Favorite Polish Colors of the Season

Writer's picture: CreoleNaturalCreoleNatural

This time of year, the nail salons are extra busy. It's no surprise because everyone wants to look their best for the Holiday events and parties. For some reason, when it’s time to select a polish color for my manicure and pedicure, I just get so overwhelmed with all the many different options, and I often go for the same boring colors or try to be adventurous and select a color that I end up regretting. You know how uncomfortable it can be to select a color and then having to politely ask the person doing your nails if you can change it, and sometimes it's just not worth the hassle and you end up leaving the salon with a color that you hate.

If you are indecisive like me, when choosing a nail polish color at the salon, this post is for you! When it comes to Holiday nails, four colors comes to mind: Red, Green, Silver and Gold (with lots of shimmer & glitters of course).

To help make the selection process easier for you, I am sharing some of my favorite colors of the Season that you can use as suggestions for your next salon visit. Also, products are linked in case you are interested in purchasing any of these colors to bring with you at next salon visit or to pamper yourself at home with a DIY mani/pedi.

Red Hot and Sexy

O.P.I Big Apple Red

Londontown: Changing of the Guards

Londontown Lady Luck

Going For The Gold

I am Seeing Green & Prosperity for the New Year!

O.P.I That’s Hula-rious!

Next Green color is Cobra Nest by WAVE. I actually got this color on my most recent salon visit. I think it’s the perfect Holiday nail color without being too green or extra if you know what I mean.

Gray is for Beauty and Wisdom

Londontown Earl Gray
